OK ... first thing. Don't panic.
Don't try to put anything hard in there to get it out.
It won't do any harm to leave it there untl you can get to a doctor or E&R/A&E
On the other hand, if your other questions are anything to go by, just get a LONG pencil and put it in the side the Q-tip is ... push gently, and it will come out of the other ear.

If you can not see the tip, I would strongly advise you ask someone else if they can see it and if they can, they can possibly remove it with tweezers. However, be aware that the inside of the ear is VERY sensitive and you do not want to damage it by poking around in there blindly. You can easily injure your ear drum or other very sensitive structures that are too small to even see and damage the balance which will throw your entire bodily equilibrium off. Your best bet may be to go to the emergency room. I hope you have insurance.

Go to CVS or anything of the sort and ask the pharmacy about ear cleaning liquids. You put the liquid in your ear and tip your ear over under it falls out. If you can't get to a drug store pour some water in your ear. It might not help as much because it dosen't have the medicine in it but it's a help.

Unfortunately I have done this to myself several times (always with the cheap brands my wife uses for makeup). If you can still feel the cotton tip in your ear with the stick it came off of, then use the tweezers. Keep them closed on the way in, open them just short of contact with it and then GENTLY take hold of the cotton tip. If you have somehow managed to push it past the outter ear canal, then go to the hospital or an ENT (Ear, Nose Throat) specialist. Good luck!

Have a friend take a peek and pluck it out with tweezers if it is accessible. If you already pushed it in further, your regular doctor can remove it with a fine small pair of alligator clamps or bayonets. Call the office to make sure he has the necessary tool. The emergency room can do it, but it is too costly. Don't panic. it'll be all right. have a nice day. This is not an emergency. Leave it alone for now if you can't get to it.

I am so sorry to hear that, however first you should let an adult know what happened and if you old enough I would suggest going to the minor care unit at your local hospital right away to avoid any ear infections and/or permanent damage and hearing loss. Do not just brush this off, this could very well lead to something serious, I am a nurse.

You may try really, really, really carefully with a pair of twizzers. But watch out you dont get the tip of the q-tip even further in. Maybe somebody can help you. Otherwise, go to your doctor or in the hospital.

Ram it in further, then when you FINALLY get some common sense and go to the ER, the Dr can make MORE money off your ear by having to do major surgery.

Jenn got it first, and got it right.
Why are you sitting at a computer complaining about a Q-tip in your ear canal?
A doctor could take care of that in, oh, 10 seconds.
