Don't make them! Just offer them some on their plate and set a good example by eating them yourself. They will eat them eventually, even if it's not till they are adults. But if you force them, they will hate them!

I don't think it is right to make your kids eat anything. What we do is #1 you must all your veggies before you can have seconds of anything. #2 between meal snacks are manly fruits and veggies, #3 you always get veggies on your plate. My kids eat really well and choose carrots and apple over cake ( I am serious it is kind of scary!) Me and my husband set a good example but eating right also. We also try to not buy any junk food, or only have it only special nights, like movie night we have chips and such.

try dying their mashed potatoes their favorite color a little food coloring is safe, and it makes eating them fun for kids, also, carrots and beans and stuff, you could set up a "eating healthy kids" chart and put it on your refidgerator, then after dinner time if they ate their veggies then you put a star on the chart for that day, at the end of 2 weeks if they have stars on every day for eating their veggies then you could award them with a candy bar or something else cheap, like a dollar toy. My sister has a big box full of dollar toys and this is how she gets her kids to eat veggies. She has 5 kids from 8 to 3 years old and it really works for her.

You start when they are 6 months old and starting on solids. Instead of feeding them tins and jars of pre-prepared food, you cook the veggies and blend them till smooth. Then as the child gets older, they are used to eating veggies. Other than that, it can be very hard as they are not used to the taste. Depending on the age, the children will eat the veggies if that is all that's on offer - don't give in and feed them something else so they're not hungry. If they are too old for that trick then I suggest you give up. you can't force older children to eat something they don't want to.

Start by giving babies a wide variety of foods when they are little (after the allergy testing periods)
I am a firm believer in making them taste something at least 2 times each time it is offered. Mine have a drink and know that they can take a drink right after, too. But I do set the example and always eat what is offered-even if I don't like it and sometimes make things that the kids like and I don't, but I still eat it. If there is something that I KNOW one of the kids doesn't like, I just don't make it as often, but that doesn't mean that I don't make it at all.

Don't....
My mom use to make us taste everything. I want eat any veggies now. I hate salads topped with loads of cheese and dropping with dressing. I avoid the lettuce....haha
I think the cheese is a great idea if they are eating it. Go with that. I would offer them veggies and maybe say you never know till you try it but let it go. Most kids don't eat veggies. I have heard to make veggies tray that helps. Never did here tho.

When trying to teach my kids to eat veggies or other new foods, I would always put some on their plate and tell them they had to have one bite. If they didn't like it they didn't have to eat any more. A lot of times with kids, even if they don't like something the first time they try it, they will start to like it later on. Also, if they think that it is something "special" because mom really likes it, they will be more likely to want to try it. Don't let your kids hear you say you don't like something if you want them to eat it. If they know, or think that you don't like it, they may never even try it.

Once again, the two bite rule. Also some veggies taste better with melted cheese on them and kids will eat them more willingly.
Try raw veggies with dipping dressing such as Ranch or whatever their favorite is

What always used to work for me is rewarding them for eating vegetables. Like, they get to have dessert if they eat all of them. Another good thing is to make foods that the vegetables are already in. Tacos are good to use if you want them to eat lettuce.
