Many pastors go to school for many years to get degrees to become preachers too, not just priests in Catholic churches. As for whether or not women are allowed to be priests, read 1 Peter 2:5- all Christians are techinically priests ordained by Christ. However, not all Chistians are called to be pastors/ teachers as most people translate the word "priest" today. That's an issue of spiritual giftedness. The Bible says that all Christians are given spiritual gifts, but not everyone has the same gift. So, we are all priests, ordained by Christ, but only some are pastors and/or teachers, only some are prophets, only some have the gift of faith ect. Look up 1 Cor. 12 and Eph. 4:11-12 (I think, I'm not that great with references, but that will get you pretty close.) Hope this helps, God bless! :)

God is spirit. He/she is the highest authority.
Your question is how high can a woman place be, look at Acts.
How high can you be? What do you believe. Some denominations are completely male like Roman Catholics; other have equal ministries.
If you examine the Christian bible, you will see a number of roles that women have played. God created male and female. Be careful how you read that text, it does not say master and slave.
1 Cor 10:23-24 with emphasis on 24.
That is enough for one question. You answers depends on what you believe in the Christian bible. In there, you will find your answer but not necessarily your denomination.

Within the Church: Deaconess, Teacher, Prophetess, or someone in charge of Church Operations (i.e. Treasurer or Secretary).
Men are the ones to whom the jobs of priest/pastor/overseer are specifically given; which means they alone are to perform the Sacraments to the congregation (Holy Communion, Holy Baptism) and they alone have been given the authority to forgive sins in Jesus name as appointed first to the apostles.
Both Men and Women are free to preach/minister and be missionaries, that is speak the Word of God and the inspired Word of God (i.e. Sermons), to others.
Women should not take on the roles of priest/pastor in church because by the command of God and traditionally (Jewish Priesthood), Men were given such roles. This does not mean women can't do it by lack of ability, but rather God in his infinite wisdom have given the role specifically to men.

A princess of the Most High God! Is there anything better than that?
We all must keep in mind that following Jesus is about bowing to HIS authority, not considering our own.
When we become more concerned with what we want versus what He wants, we have lost our way.

When you become a Christian, you then realise that it is not about some kind of race in life one against the other.. We are here to fulfill a purpose in God's kingdom and do his will. We are all different and have different gifts to use in our lives and we are to do our part, not trying to be better than the Pastor or Moses or anyone else.
It just isn't about what level you want to elevate yourself to, but what God wants in your life. If you are faithful in your service to him then he is the one that gives our your gifts..

There is no limitation to the authority a women can have in the realm of spirituality. The limits put upon women are man made, not God created.
