Just a reminder, beginning December 31, 2006, all US citizens traveling abroad INCLUDING Canada, Mexico, and certain Caribbean countries, will now need to have a valid passport. If you are going to be traveling out of the country anytime in the coming months I would suggest getting a passport NOW to avoid all the last minute idiots who will need one for their winter and spring breaks. Most post offices do process passport applications but there are other locations you can go to such as a county clerk. I have included links to the State Departments passport information pages below.

Let the US State Department help you with this one! It can take several weeks to get a passport, though, so be prepared to play the waiting game....
"New Application for a U.S. Passport
"To obtain a passport for the first time, you need to go in person to one of 7,000 passport acceptance facilities located throughout the United States with two photographs of yourself, proof of U.S. citizenship, and a valid form of photo identification such as a driver’s license."
Usually your birth certificate or social security card are sufficient to prove citizenship, but check the website above to be certain.
Good luck!
PS. I've heard Krispy Kremes are better. Drop me a message when you get back from Canada and let me know if Horton's are really that good! ;-)

You go !! lol!! Tim Hortons rocks!! I hear the Timmy's they have in the states the doughnuts and coffee isn't as good though. That's what my friend told me... she moved down to Ohio and even though she has a Timmy's there she misses the ones from up here. :) Also my friend ex who was from PA came up here and became OBSESSED with Tim Hortons lol.
Ya its good. Have fun! :)
Ok I just read the answer above mine and thats funny. Like I said, US Timmy's are no good. If you want the Tim's experience you gotta come to Canada.

You can download passport applications online from the Department of State. You turn it in at your county clerk's office.
You don't need to go to Canada to go to Tim Horton's. We've got them all over in Ohio, and they're not very good in all honesty. They're not any better in Canada, either. They're just..... okay.

Go to the county clerk and apply for a passport. And there are lots of places to get the passport photo, I went to Wal-mart. Actually call the clerk's office firts, I'm not sure if you need the photo ready when you apply or not. But it's definately at the county clerk's office.
