it's rather simple, if you saw a segway a three hundred years a ago, what might the exlpination/description be? what if you saw a space shuttle a thousand years ago how would it be described?
Also if you had no understanding of space, planets, flight, and you were trying to tell someone about it, you would come up with very strange description(compared to knowning exactly what it is that you are talking about).
trust you feelings.

The word "angel" actually comes from the Greek word aggelos, which means "messenger." The matching Hebrew word mal'ak has the same meaning.
Sometimes, the Bible uses these words for human beings:
ordinary people who carry messages (Job 1:14; Luke 7:24; 9:52)
prophets (Isaiah 42:19; Malachi 3:1)
priests (Malachi 2:7)
church leaders (Rev 1:20)
Sometimes, it speaks figuratively of things or events as "messengers"…
the pillar of cloud (Exodus 14:19)
pestilence or plagues (2 Samuel 24:16-17)
But it usually describes the whole range of spirits whom God has created, including both good and evil angels, and special categories such as cherubim, seraphim, and the archangel.
Angels are mentioned at least 108 times in the Old Testament and 165 times in the New Testament (Chafer, Systematic Theology, II, 3). Hence, there is ample information available in Scripture to allow us to build a foundation for our knowledge of angelic beings.
No, Angels are not aliens, they are a creation of God to serve many purposes.

what is an alien? doesn't that mean someone who did not originate on this planet?
The almighty creator, his first born son Jesus, the millions of other spirit creatures. Who cried out joyfully at the earths being made. Did not originate on this planet. Spirit creatures are different from us. We have flesh and blood bodies and if they do not want you to see them you can't.. To see them they have to clothe themselves it says in human bodies. So they were not born with human bodies. Now however you say it that is an alien.
From other planets, or just from some other place than earth.
That definitely is the case. When the bible in the beginning says God created the heavens and the earth.
What did he mean about the heavens? Jesus said, "I go to prepare a place for you. Speaking of going back to heaven.
Job the first chaper says when asked by god where have you been he replied, from roving about in the earth.
indicateing that at the present time he wasn't on the earth.
But in some other heavenly abode before God's throne.
Job 1:6 states came to be the day when they station themselves before God.
Revelation says a war broke out in heaven and satan was cast out and down to the earth. Yea guys theres people out there

People explain the unexplainable through the understanding of their time.
For many years we have explained odd lights in the sky and strange occurances as UFOs and aliens. I think we may find eventually that there is another explanation.
I agree that many of the above passages do sound like our current UFO sightings. This is also true about many of the rock paintings in non-European parts of the world.
Hopefully we will find out in our lifetime.

Please remember:
Angels are created beings, that do not have their own will, as humans do. Angels do what GOD tells them, and good things that humans order them to do in the name of JESUS. They won't obey if the order is against the word of GOD.
Secondly, in Genesis Chapter 6, it speaks of Nephilim. These were the offspring from the genetic cross between the sons of GOD and the human females. They were the heroes of old.
Technically, when we think of alien, we are thinking of beings from another planet. Angels & The Sons of GOD originated in heaven not on a planet. Even satan was created in heaven.
To answer your question directly, no aliens, only creations from the wonderfully inventive imagination of GOD Almighty.
May GOD Bless you!

There are references full of U.F.O sightings in religious texts.
Read the works of Zechariah Sitchin. He's a recognized Bible scholar and one of the few people around the world who can read ancient Sumerian texts. (Note, his first book is slightly out of date since it was published in 1976 but still very relevant.)
Obviously anyone in ancient times would naturally associate something as exotic as U.F.O's to be associated with the God they believe in.

Angels are real (not aliens), but they are not UFO's and I don't
believe any of those scriptures are speaking of UFO's. The Bible
says not to add to or take away from what scriptures actually
say and I don't see UFO's spoken of anywhere in the Bible.

GOD has UFO's that are made out of Frozen Light, and can Exceed the Speed of Light tremendously.
Devil copy's GOD, cause he can't come up with anything Original, cause there's no TRUTH in him.
Devil pose's as Alien's who say they put us on the EARTH long ago, and came to check up on us.
In the End, JESUS come's back and take's out their ufo's with HIS UFO's and then Lock's those sucker's up.
GAME-OVER, Peace on EARTH for 1000 Year's.
Hope this helps. "JLU" Ditto.......

Its the bible. Interpret it any way you like as anyone else does. Your opinion is just as good a guess as anyone. Interesting theory that may have some truth to it.
