in los angeles, there are two i remember,
1. Hurrican Harbor Six Flags (next door to six flags magic mountain)
2. Ragging Rappids

i looooveee hurrican harbor i use to go there twice a week with my year pass when i use to live 5 min. away. typically you cant bring food or drinks to the water park, but its sooo easy to hide it in, i did it every time. the only thing they ever check is for weapons and nothing else.
Ragging rapids i use to go as a kid with my school, its much bigger than hurrican harbor, but its the type that its old, yukky, cheap, dirty. hurrican harbor is new no more than 8 to 10 years compard to the other one and its CLEAN.

There are a lot. Hurricane Harbor ( it sucks now, because you can't take any coolers into the park) NRH20, and there are a couple of city named water parks that I can't remember the names of them, that are really cheap to get into.

There is one in Anchorage, about 375 miles from where I live. Its indoors. I hear its fun, but I always think of the screaming kids, so I avoid.

No. Ridiculous, for Texas. The capitol city, no less.

No but we have a pool filled with whiny little kids and overweight bitchy mothers who really don't want to be in the heat.
