Yes; but it's the same for g/fs. Sorry; but a good man can be hard to find and it's the same for women. Sorry; but, it's the truth for various reasons. Take this from a man that's been to jail twice over a woman being mad at me an/ or needing to cover up a lie told to me.

Like a $lut? yes, it is. Most men are timid and shy and are dillusional about things that arent real like love and respect. Its easier to make them treat you like a vvhore though, just have them leave a dollar on the night stand before you kick them out.
