I used to ride a bike when I was having my period with cramps..... and it often happened that the cramps went away.

No. It is best to do crunches before and after you have your period because it builds your abdominal wall, which makes your cramps actually get better. During may make them worse.

excercise is very good for you when you are cranmping. 600mg of ibuprofen will slow your bleeding AND take away your cramps. (Thats 3 pills) If you are continuing to have severe cramping, you should see your ob/gyn and ask about a condition called endometriosis.

No it might be the best time to alleviate your cramps.
Exercise releases endorphins, your bodys natural painkillers.
Aeorobic, (Cardio) exercise does this best.
You might never need Midol again, just kidding.
