YOU PUT IN A FAKE DAIMOND!!! ARE YOU CRAZY!? WHAT WAS GOING THROUGH YOUR HEAD! IT WASN'T YOUR FAULT IT FELL OUT! JUST TELL SOMEONE! NOW THE SITUATION IS EVEN WORSE BECAUSE YOU NEVER TOLD ANYONE AND YOU PUT IN A FAKE DAIMOND!!! HOW ARE YOU GONNA TELL SOMEONE ABOUT IT AT THIS POINT! *deep breath* no it was not the right thing to do.

I would tell her>>> Why did you even have her ring in the 1st place, and do you think you could find the diamond??? If so, look for it, or maybe even get another real diamond for her. But tell her the truth, or else your friendship could end if she found out.

NO!! What were you doing with HER engagement ring in the first place? you need to tell her the truth, because sooner or later she's gonna find out. And when she does, "it ain't gon' be pretty".
Tell her the truth; good friends would rather hear that you lost it, and are willing to look for it, rather than you replaced it with a fake one.

what were you doing at a party w/ your friends engagement ring. When the stone fell out did you run out during the party and get a fake one. No it is inconsiderate.

Not the right thing and you need to tell her immediately. Also check and see if the ring was insured. Insurance might cover the loss. Good luck.

If the diamond fell out it dhould be covered by insurance. You did wrong to try and cover it up. What were you doing with it anyway.
