Yeah they're sometimes called cellophane treatments. The liquid product is applied to your hair, they put a plastic cap on and place you under the hairdryer so the product penetrates the hair shaft. The end result is hair that is shiny and protected as if it were wrapped in cellophane. You can purchase the product yourself @ a beauty supply store. It's called JAZZING and costs around $8. In the salon around $40+ The results last about 4 weeks, I do it often.

Yes. Its basically $25 for a glaze that makes your hair shiney and smooth...until you wash it. Its worth it if the day of you are going somewhere fabulous...but I wouldn't get it otherwise.
