I have a 4 month old baby. And just three days ago, i noticed on the corner of his left eyes, it was kind of red. After a few days passes by the redness was all over his eyelids and under the eyes, and now i start to see swollen and i don't know what that thing call, that every morning you wake up it in the corner of your eyes [something like "eyes wax," that the name i'm guessing, just like those thingies from your ears, that we call "ear wax"]. Any way i hope you guy get the picture. Everytime my son wake up from sleep those eyes wax cover all his lids, that make him can't open his eyes. i have to use a soft wash cloth and warm water to wipe it off. And now his right eyes is starting to be like his left one too. Please tell me what wrong?

I am having the same problem, My 7 month old started having bumps, small ones and then a littie red dot on the corner of his right eye then now both are swollen, there so swollen you can barly see his eye. I toke him to the ped yesterday and he said its a Bacteria infection I have No Clue How, but it wasn't pink eye because his eye ball was white and ok. He gave me an oitment which i have to put 4 times a day for 5 days but today he woke up worse I go nuts when i look at his eyes I want to make it better NOW.

It's pink eye .... you need to take the baby to a doctor and ask for an antibotic. they'll usually Perscribe you Erythromycin.. you apply it to the eye(s) after you aplpy the warm wash cloth to remove the crusties.. do not touch the tip of the medication to the skin or it'll contaminate the meds.. It's okay to get it into the eye you can smear it on with a Q-tip.. hope this helps...

It might be an allergic reaction, but from my experience, its most likely pink eye. Take him to his doctor ASAP. Hope this helps.

That can be conjuntivitis and it have to be treated by the doctor because it's contagious, even on his other eye or to you.

It could be an allergic reaction, or possibly conjuctivitis. Call your pediatrician.

You need to take him to the doctor ASAP. Any infection in the eyes or ears could spread to his brain. You don't wait for things like this to get worst in children. Please, please take him to the doctor NOW.
