to me any war is wrong. any killing is wrong. how come we call it murder when one person kills another- or if 2,5,10, 100, 1000 ,etc. kill others. how many people have to be involved for it to be called noble?

War is not good or bad; it's either necessary or not. It's a must in many situations in which either diplomacy fails or you are dealing with a rogue nation.

As John Stuart Mill once said, "War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."

It depends, war as bad as it sounds seems to propel society after it is fought. It can bring amazing things out some people, sometimes brings out the best and sometimes it brings out the worst. The Norse version of heaven was an everlasting war that one could wage in. While other people think that the after life is eternal peace. It's just different for some people, it's all about perception.

Some get killed, some get rich. I have read somewhere that in modern war about 90-95% of killed people are civilians. For killed Iraqis the war has not turned out good.

Depends on how you see it.

Bad: We waste trillions of dollars and lives to prove ONE point.

Good: Gets the economy going. War = Jobs = Money = More products.

War is never a good thing. Sometimes it's thought of as the lesser of two evils.

War is not very good for living things, and the environment but is good for repuglicans to fatten their wallets.

Fault isn't spelled "falt" dumb-***!!! >:o GRUMBLE-GRUMBLE-GRUMBLE!

...lol, this is a joke based on your last question. (Just in case you see this first and are confuzzled)

But war actually is supposed to be good...I just can't remember the reasons. But there ARE real reasons...like, the economy and junk.
