I used to teach school in a correctional facility. It was the most wonderful experience. Everyday was the best, I learned so much and hopefully so did my students. Seeing them succeed even if it was a small thing meant quite a lot. It still means so much to me and always will.

If by self-satisfying, you mean enjoyable, I think working at the soup kitchen is the most self-satisfying situation I've ever been in.
