I'm not sure about that, but I know that when people were mummified, their brains were pulled out through their nose.

Yes, but you'd have to go through a thin layer of bone. The egyptians would break the cribiform plate of the ethmoid bone in the roof of the nose to take out the brain (the holes that the previous medical student was talking about are in this bone but they are so tiny it would be hard to get anything bigger than a hair through them). There is no direct easy access to the brain through the nose though. We'd all be dead of meningitis if there was. This site shows the inside of the skull and is pointing to the cribiform plate and the tiny holes where the olfactory nerve (for smelling) goes through. You'd have to break the bone here or perhaps a little posteriorly to get to the brain. http://ect.downstate.edu/courseware/haonline/figs/l22/225a02.htm

Doesn't take a doctor or a biologist. Yes, you can. During mummification, the ancient Egyptians used to remove the brain through the nasal cavity.

I am not a doctor, but I am quite informed on many issues. I had a collegue that had a brain procedure done through his nose. I am not quite sure what the procedure was for, but one of the complications he experienced was that the entry point started to leak and brain fluid was draining out of his nose.

Technically is the object was long and hard enough to do it, it could, it would go in the nose though the sinus and it would also have to go through the skull in that area. so while possible it would be very hard

well, as a matter of fact u can.. but u'll pierce alot of membranes on your way up.. but no boundaries of bones... but it has to be done with sth really thin coz the orfices in skull for the olfacory nerve (from which this thing enters) are very small.. please don't try to put anything in ur nose.. it's dangerous ;)
