i am still a student with two part- time job. i would try to balance my time. but recently, both my work place run out of staff and i have to go to work even on week days. i told my manager i can't because of my studies, but he insist that i have to work. what should i do ???

Look for work else where. Oh and there are tons of student loans.

You have to make the choice. By going to work on weekdays, does it affect you studies? If it does, maybe you should look for some other part time job. I think there are a lot of place recruiting part time workers

Stick to your guns. You can only do what you can do, so not let your boss pressure you when you know fully well what you're capable of.
The worst that happens is your boss fires you, and then what? He has one fewer person to do the work that he needed you to work MORE time to do. His loss; and you will always be able to find another part-time job. A reasonable manager should be able to respect your assessment of your own work abilities.

If it doesn't work with your study schedule, just Quit or demand better hours, if you're a valuable employee, the manager should be reasonable.
