Look i'm so damned sick and tired of people thinking that in order for a girl to beautiful she has to look like Mary-Kate on crack. it's because of people like that, that causes young girls to starve themselves or puke out their guts because they're trying to look like tooth pick. everyone isn't built to be a size zero....and what is a size zero.....?

My best friend is a size 34...yes a women's 34. She is the most intelligent, fascinating person I know. But so many people dis her because they only see 400 +pounds coming at them. It really ticks me off. I am first to defend her. I agree that the media needs to back off glamorizing emaciated girls and start focusing on brains and inner beauty.
I am not a size 0, but just because I am a 6 doesn't mean I am don't get p.o.'d when I see what the super skinnies (size 0s and 1s) do to good people. I feel like getting Ninja on their butts!

Look girl, calm down. Ok, I'm a guy and I wanna put a guy's perspective. Yes, you are right, not everyone is built to be a size 0 or whatever the small number depending on the standard you use. I like them though, the very skinny skeletal looking girls with protruding bones all over her body, especially the collar and hip bones, yummy.... But anyway, most guys are not like me,so if you aren't size 0, you don't have to worry. You read too much Cosmo and watch too much FTV. Most guys prefer chubby girls. I found a polling in a woman mag few months ago. It says that from hundreds guys they asked, only 2% prefer skinny girls, but more than 30% prefer fat/chubby girls. The rest like normal sized girls. So, girls, don't be worry to much about your size, unless you are severely under/overweight so it's dangerous for your health. Just be confident and enjoy your life!

You are absolutely right. But, this is a male dominated world, where men proscribe what a woman should look like, we get showered with images of what we should look like via the media---and we give in to peer-pressure. The beauty standards were defined by men, and we want them--so we better live up to their beautystandards--that's how it is. No matter what, otherwise you will have problems finding a boyfriend/husband, getting a job etc. You'll have to pay 2 tickets to fly, will not fit into a regular car seat--all that without talking about the health problems that can be so signifant when we are overweight. So even if you are right: this is a standard which we live by....

Finally, somebody with some sense comes around! I hate it as well girl. I mean, everybody is special and beautiful in their own way, you dont have to starve yourself to be skinny, if you're naturally skinny stay that way, one should never change themselves, because they see these insecure and helpless celebrities starve themselves. If you're thick and curvy, stay that way. Everyone is beautiful, I just cannot see why people dont see that. At the end of the day, there is always that one person that can relate to millions and billions in the world, we may like the same music, we are all the same...Physical beauty doesn't define who a person is, its the internal beautiful that really shows people who they are...Uuugh, it just makes me sick lol...

I feel ya girl, but I'm like a size 2 but it's all genetics. I'm brown skinned and slim...most guys want a light skinned thick chick but I'm the complete opposite! Why should it matter what a person looks like? It's the heart that matters. Looks can fade...just keep your head up. Nobody's ugly because God made you and everyone else to be a beautifully unique individual!

I totally agree. Fashion magazines and supermodels are what's wrong with societys' view on how a woman should look. People are too quick to judge someone from the outside without really getting to know their inner beauty. Skinny or not, it's personality in my opinion that can make someone beautiful or ugly.

ok, so I didnt even study all of what you stated. yet-- If that were given you wondering.. then bypass see The Fourth type. (about Alien Encounters, featuring actual pictures and audio.) all of it is so overwheling, after watching that action picture and and understanding some backgroundinformation on 2012, it quite receives you wondering. i am going to assert that in case you belive in God, the bible says "the international will end when we least anticipate it." yet regardless of this you should imagine in different words and ought to belive the bible is a set of mumbo jumbo. also, the action picture 2012 is exaggerated to finish extents. very few issues are precise in that action picture. I propose doing somewhat analyze on the placement for interesting. you should imagine, "Wow analyze? For interesting? you should imagine i'm loopy.!" yet when it pastimes you that a lot, i understand i'm, then it may well be on your benefit. some thing to do on your spare time.

Amen girl. I think that those girls have problems anyway. I'm a size 18 and I'm losing weight but I still want to keep curves. I'd never want to look that skinny.

Amen. Glad to see there are others out there with the same opinion as me. I don't like it when I see people walking around looking like a walking sack of bones. It's not attractive, I don't see how anyone could think it's attractive.
