Israel could easily defeat the Syrian conventional forces by themselves. The terrorists are the big threat.
If Iran enters Iraq to try to get into Syria, they would easily be defeated by the American forces in Iraq. The Saudis and Kuwaitis would be nervous so they might send forces up into Iraq too if the Iranians try to enter Kuwait. Turkey wouldn't be too happy with the Iranians getting closer either so they might enter the war. So the Iranians wouldn't have a chance except like in Syria, using terrorist tactics.
China wouldn't enter the war because of Iran, they can't afford to lose there export economy. The Russians are broke and they wouldn't want to risk war over crazy Iranians!

So far the news has had no statements about the positions being taken by India and China, at this point the are still talking peace. An old idiom is that when politicians talk war don't worry, when the talk peace, worry.
If Iran is invaded what is the policy to Pakistan, will they feel bold enough to start a war with India because they think they are allies with USA in war on Afghanistan and others and full of US money and troops. How would India react. What would China's reaction to an Invasion of a buffer country on her border be, in addition to the threats against the other buffer country(Korea) on her eastern border. If Syria is invaded what will Europe or the Russians do, this gets more complicated.
Lets just roll the dice and see who or what is left after the dust settles.

Russia and China are big allys with Iran and Syria but mostly
Iran. So if we attacked Iran then China and Russia would definetly obliterate us. They have the second and third most
powerful military and together they would all be unstoppable
and that would definetly lead to WW3. And if China gets involved
then North Korea will also back up China so then we are all doomed. We have to relize that there are so many countries
with different ties and one wrong move by the U.S means it
is all over. I may be 13 but I know this. Well if thats what happens

World War Three. Russian and China have promised to back up Iran. Now if we attacked Iran we will also have to fight China, Russian, and if we attack in the near future we will still be fighting in Iraq and Afganistan. North Korea will see this as a chance to launch it's missiles at us.

we would need to actually defeat the people this time out not just their military.
In WWII the people of Germany and Japan gave up. We defeated the countries and their will to fight. It will take the same sort of destruction to actually change anything. This stuff about never hurting a civilian is crap. These people hide behind civilians..they put guns and bombs on little kids..they need to be destroyed. If we only fight like we did in Iraq then we will be in the same place as we are there.
