some people say it is, i dont think so. music is nothing but emotions made audible, its up to the listener to interpret the meanings. there is satonic music out there, but i dont think its the obvious. listen to it and make your own decision. some songs you like because of the sound and the melody, not the words. most of those bands do the satonic thing for shock value to sell cds. for an example, alice cooper listens to classical music more than anything else. follow your heart, youll know whats right and wrong without anyone telling you. take care.

If the songs are promoting satan I believe it is. But if it isn't then listen on! I'm a christian and my favorite band is the Rolling Stones so I was in the same position. I love classic rock, but I felt to be a christian and to listen to rock music would make me a hypocrite. I decided though that God will not condemn to hell for listening to Janis Joplin. As long as it doesn't affect you and your relationship with God, I don't see how listening to rock music hurts.

No, in my opinion, listening to music is not a sin. Stealing, cheating, lying and killing(among others) is a sin. As far as I know Ozzy Osbourne is not a satan worshiper. He even says that in one of his songs and in many of his interviews. I think he is actually christian.(personal I don't care what religeon a person is I still give her/him the respect of voicing there opionions.

No, music is meant to be enjoyed. However. when music invokes emotion; I mean, REAL emotion, it becomes dangerous. And "they" hate that. Gonna have to think for yourself, bro. In the meantime, dont' listen to people who say these artists worship Satan. Try some REAL Satanic artists, like Venom, Deicide, and Electric Hellfire Club. Oh, yeah!

If you are a christian then you already know the answer to that. Yes it is!!
When satan was in heaven, lucifer, he was in charge of music. Music that was to glorify God. When his pride got in the way and he was "kicked out" of heaven, he used that to build himself. He uses music to entice ppl. Even though the words aren't "praising satan" the meaning behind it are. I know this cuz I used to listen to crazy music to and it was very hard to give it up.....
