Your dog has your number and she is pushing your buttons and winning.
If she does not eat the dry food you worry and give up and give her people food. Why would you eat that if you knew and had learned that if you wait something better will come along.
Put the dry food down and leave it down. She will not starve herself to death. Do not feed her ANYTHING until she eats dog food. It is hard but if you do this for a week or two she will learn to eat what is provided.
Also try and stay with the same food do not switch all the time as this makes your problem worse not better.

How old is she? Our Chi stopped eating kibble around 12 years old, I'm guessing because her teeth were getting weaker. We had to switch to soft food. Even with that, we have to switch brands constantly and sometimes add bits of human food to entice her - maybe chis get picky in their old age. This is ok with me, she's 13 now and I say let her feast on whatever makes her happy.
If yours is a puppy though, I don't receommend getting into that habit - a lifetime of human food diet won't be good for her. Talk to the vet, maybe something is going on inside her that you can't see.

Try changing brands of food. I've had many different chihuahua's, and every single one of them liked different brands of food. Try not to give it too much human food; it can mess with their stomach and intestines. If changing foods doesn't help, you may want to take it to the vet. It may have worms or some other illness.

My two chi babies were the same way. They put their nose up to many different dry dog foods. I finally found one that they just LOVE !! It's Royal Canin Mini Chihuahua 28. Made for the fussiest of eaters. You can buy it from pet smart or pet co. I'm glad I finally found something they love !!!

Try switching brands. She may be a bit finicky. But if she's getting bony, give her human food, it will do her some good. I know we're made to believe that human food is bad for dogs, but in fact, dogs survived and thrived before pet food was created in the 1950s. Therefore, if you feed your dog nutritious human foods, such as veggies, yogourt, lean meats, she will do fine.

My chihuahua Patricia will not eat her food either. She prefers scavaging thru the neighbors garbage. It is so disqusting. She is so friggin fat, but her food bowl stays untouched.
Thats a chihuahua for ya!

you dont say what kind of dogfood you have offered her, but since she likes snails(?) you might try offering her a good quality dry cat food. my chihuahua loves it, tho she does eat dogfood also. chihuahuas can be picky little things, sometimes having delicate tummies. my sister fed hers rice cooked in broth, mixed with cooked chicken livers or other lean meat. you might try mixing a good high quality dry food with some good tasting canned food. check her teeth to be sure she doesnt have problems chewing. good luck

Maybe she doesn't like what your giving her. Try a mixture of hamberger and dry food. Even if she just eats the hamberger, at least she's eating something.

Try different foods, even raw food (hamburger, or even chicken necks (don't cook them!).
One thing our dogs *LOVE* is the BARF diet (Barf foods, not easy to get and expensive), and it is extremely healthy. A little extra spent now with better food will save even more with future vet bills.

try a different kind of food, maybe canned, and never EVER give her "people food"
If after a few days she still turns her nose up, take her to the vet
