I am a early 40s, successful single man and looking for suggestions on where or how to meet a nice single woman. Once I am in a place to meet it is not any problem making conversation. It is just where is a good place to meet other singles. Any ideas or suggestions would be really appreciated.

Hie! I read somewhere that to meet a nice man/woman, always go to the place that you frequently hang out or places you enjoy being at. That way you'll be able to meet people who share the same interests as you. Example, If my hobby is readying, i'll go to the librabry or a bookshop and see whether i'd be able to meet some nice guy out there.
I'd suggest, cafe , park or even the book shop? DO you have any "singles" association? Join a club or something...?

I'm probably not the best candidate to give a good answer to this question but I'll try. Next time you're in the grocery store, maybe, strike up a conversation with a woman who's not in the isle for pampers or men's deoderant (though it's possible she's buying it for herself). It's not always likely that she'll be single of course, but what do you've to lose? Maybe try the library?
If all else fails, try the internet. There are some nice sites to browse. Craigslist.org is a great site if you haven't heard of it already. It's gotten good publicity. I've used it to post my resume, look for jobs, and I've looked through the personals a couple times, though I'm not single....

a good place to try is local parks, and well, what are your interests? no use goin and lookin where you might not like what you get. if you like books, poetry, try heading to a reading, if your into music and what not, try local band festivals. Try looking into a community calendar to see whats going on. woman are every where you go....

depends where you live and how old you are, maybe the library?? if you like to read , the gym if you work out, depends what you like to do
