I think the abbreviation for French Connection United Kingdom is a hoot--F.C.U.K.

I always thought the French abbreviation TGV for its superfast train was funny not because of its meaning but because you expect something more technical. As most probably already know, it stands for "très grande vitesse" or "very fast speed".

There used to be a warehouse near me called F.A.G. Industries. LOL. Not sure what it stood for though. I guess they got the clue a few years back and took the sign down.
