To hayleylov: In Proverbs 25:17, God is not suggesting that you hate someone for visiting you too much. He is saying that you might be hated for visiting someone too much. There is a very big difference between hating and being hated.

-Don't visit your neighbor too much, or he may get his fill of you and come to hate you. (Mishlei 25:17 Source from The Complete Jewish Bible)

First of all I want to say everybody is entitled to their own point of views and I'll express mine. I think people use religion views to what best suits them. I read here the commandment that people shall not lie but what about that one should love their neighbors?Illegals are blamed for everything. For taking the work, the benefits, the food , and what not. People can't generalize for a couple of people seriously. God says that we should love each other and be in peace, but he never says justify being materialistic. Its outrages that people that are so devoted to their religion come out lashing at immigrants. it's ironic when you're showing hate and then go to Sundays to church and claim you have not sin. I'm not generalizing but there are plenty of people like that. seriously who has told someone that they are better than them because a paper define you as a citizen. People need to realize that they are humans. they need all the things you and i need. They come here to work and survive ,but instead they get labeled as criminals. They are not criminals they are humans. Now I ask you this is it a sin to migrate for a better tomorrow? Is it a sin to give your family a place to live and food? They are humans. If you bash illegals and go to church on Sunday and talk about having no sins think about that twice. If deportation would occur how many kids would be orphans and how many families wouldn't be split.

Anything can be bastardized by taking it to the extreme. The Bible never proposes to help people break the law. It's too easy to pull Bible quotes out of context and throw them around. Big deal, you've found a Bible quote to turn around on Christians.

And stop using words and phrases that have no real meaning, except in a socialist society. They are not "undocumented workers". They're law breakers. If you don't mind illegal aliens breaking the law, supposedly to feed their hungry little families, then you won't mind if I sneak into your house and take all your stuff to feed my hungry little family. Just call me an "unauthorized borrower".

Being that you gave no information on your question some the solutions seem heading in the right route; yet, they don't mirror the grace of God. What replaced into the incentive or real confusion about your question? Stereotypically Christians are considered to be forgiving people so for this reason who're we to justify what's nice and incorrect? i don't know the real Holy Ghost answer on your question. i know this, for decades people have used the bible to justify their beliefs and sins. The bible reads an same from the following to everywhere. that's surprising that an same verse will advise some thing diverse to everybody that reads it. you want not worry about what "Christians" believe. What does God say? study it your self or ask a relied on clergy guy. this question is open for peoples opinion search for for the reality.

I am not a Christian but isn't there a commandment that says, "Thou shalt not lie?" When they come over here and obtain all of the false documentation, isn't that being dishonest? When they have 6 or 7 false IDs in their pockets, isn't that lying, when you say you are someone you are not? I hate it when people try to bring God into politics like this.

How about this Bible quote:

Romans 13

1Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.

2Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.

3For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and he will commend you.

4For he is God's servant to do you good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword for nothing. He is God's servant, an agent of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer.

5Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also because of conscience.

6This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God's servants, who give their full time to governing.

7Give everyone what you owe him: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.

I'm glad to see that at least you have read the Bible. I apologize. Sometimes emotions get the better of our senses. All people are my brethren and thus worthy of my love.Illegals only take the jobs that are given to them. I only have issue with the legal aspects of the situation. All of the rest is only perspective. Peace.

You know there are things that christians are to do; however, we also are to obey the laws of the land. And, that goes for "christian" illegals.

Unless liberals would rather destroy law and live in anarchy. God is a God of order, and liberals wouldn't understand because they are godless.

separation of church and state. why don't they turn the other cheeck and go back?

ha ha ha so turning the other cheek - means giving you everything we've legally worked for so you can have it all and we are poor?

You know nothing about any religion.

Jesus is the father of Christianity - he said give to God what is God's and to Cesar what is Cesar - get a life.
