I may be going to Ny, Ny this December with my mom, 12 year old brother and me. I'm 21 years old. But, we do not know of a good hotel to stay at. We used to stay at the Plaza but, it is closed down now. So, can anyone reccommend a good hotel that is in the area of the Mathatten area I would appreciate thank you.

Try the Embassy Suites or Doubletree Suites in Time Square.
The rooms offer a lot of space. This way you and
your brother can have a little space of your own.
And Doubletree is a block away from the giant 'Toys 'R' Us' superstore.
Also check out the Sofitel New York. If you are looking for super luxury, check out the Ritz Carlton Central Park(beautiful location).
Christmas time in New York will be spectacular! Enjoy.

I would say Crowne Plaza Times Square, Hyatt NY, Doubletree Suites, The Roosevelt Hotel...Look on Hotels.Com and Orbitz.com!! December will be beautiful! I'm going in a week and I'm so excited!
