Go on your couch and wrap your kitty in a blanket for about 30 minutes. Maybe carry him around the house. Then let him out of the blanket. He must be cold!poor cat.

Yep, my cat would get right in if I wasn't careful when I get stuff out. I guess this can be a lesson for you and kitty. Be careful to make sure she is not in other appliances when you are using them...dryer, washer, etc. Really. This does happen and it sounds like you've got one of them curious cats who needs extra caution! The meowing is probably a little bit of trauma (emotional). I think the blankie idea was a good one.

I always fear doing this my boys are always right there when I open the fridge check the fridge from now on when you go to close it that you don't have your cat in there. get a warm blanket and wrap him up, give him some warm water.

Warm it up with a blanket and give it tuna and treats. Try to put a little fence around your kitchen for the kitty can't get through and get stuck anywhere else.

Be more carefull in the future cats are curious and she might get in there again. Refrigerators are air tight. Meaning they will not let any oxygen in. Once the cat has breathed up what oxygen is in the fridge she would of suffocated!

LOL. OMG...that really happens? I have a fear of that happening to one of my cats late at night when I'm up getting a drink!

She is probably meowing a lot because she wants an explanation!

aww, maybe you should put it in the dryer to warm it up. lol just kidding, you should be more careful but it will be fine, the fridge is not cold enough to do serious damage within an hour

LOL that's great. You must have a big fridge or a small kitty.

Sounds like you have a real "COOL CAT" there, and I'm sure he'll be just fine. If he's eating, meowing, and acting normal, don't worry about it at all.

It was probably hot and stopped off to cool down. My guess is the getting shut in there was an accident.
