I am just curious to see what kind of race other people have. I am not racist. I just would like to know so i can learn about different cultures. I am mixed. I am 50 % percent portuguese and 50 % mexican and im a little bit of brazillian. Please answer my question. I would really appreciate it. Im not a racist i just wanna know what kind of races are out there. Thanks!

Anyone really know for sure.
My dad's parents came from Cuba, and their ancestors from Spain and maybe a bit of whomever conquered Spain way back.
My mom's mom is a sweet old country garden tendin' North Carolina talkin' story tellin angel that has never even driven a car, and her famiy came from a mix of English and Cherokee, and my grandad's ancestry is Irish and Dutch.
No one knows truly what they are made up of unless they have a proper DNA test done that matches your DNA up with the DNA from groups of people from years ago. And how long can u track it back anyway, how do we know when we've found the first people, person, Lucy, etc... There was just another discovery in recent months about a human discovered that predates anyone else found in that part of the world, something along those lines. Point is......... Tribes, Clans, Groups of people, whatever, they have been conquering one another for several thousands of years and then integrating themselves with that society subsequently mixing their races, if they weren't already mixed prior to that particular conquest or invasion. Many of us are made up of many races, and even those who think they know exactly what they're made up of, still can't trace it back to the initial races or race. Look at all the answers to this question that mention several races and some that they're not sure of. Just in the last 500 years, there has been quite a bit of race mixing in the Americas, with the Spainish and English and others mixing with natives, and in the last 200 years the mixing of the Africans with the Americans, and many African American today are descendents of slave owners who slept with their slaves, so it might get lost as to exactly who the father really is or what his ancestry is really made of.
If you're a supporter of evolution, then how did we evolve, was it as different races, maybe that were never of the same, or was it all from one original group, or person, then using that logic - is there really only one race that exists. Also, if Christians believe that all humans descended from Adam and Eve, then aren't we all the same anyway. There are obviously many distinct characteristics that only a certain race has, like freckles and red hair, don't u have to be a bit Irish. If there are any characteristics that are only seen in a certain race, then how could we have all come from Adam and Eve. Did all the different distinct races descend from one particalar people, or did we all descend from one particalar pair of people Adam and Eve. Neither situation makes sense to me, cause we are all so different.
I'm more confused now than before this question as to what race i am. I need to consult a DNA specialist.
Great simple but complex question.

My race is human, my family origin stems from a few cultures. American Indian (Cherokee), Portuguese, Swedish. I have had a olive/bronze tint to my skin for most of my life, and experienced racism one time from a ignorant youth in Tennessee. I chased him to his house and told him to never say crap like that again, that poor fool -lol- I scared the crap out of him.
