It's a shrink-wrapped version of the software from ERP software giant SAP AG, suitably "dumbed-down" for SMBs.

I'd say it is a practical proposition for organisations which have scope to become big players, i.e. your business plan will pitch the company inot the big league in the next several years. Otherwise it's a bit of overkill IMO.

A good choice for a small business. Check also Microsoft - Great Plains and Navision.
