If you are lucky to find a genuine girl and not one that will use you. She may just like poems. Take your time to get to know her before you start writing poems.

yes most girls/wemon love poetry. if you can write one for her from your heart that would be best. but if u cant find a way to express ur feelings then these sites hopefully will help. if u use one from the site(s) just make sure to tell her i was going to write a poem for u then i saw this one n thought if perfercty fit how i feel 4 u. also make sdure u give her a good one or even a cheesy one. good luck . have a good week.

I would not want a poem from a guy that was written by another girl. Maybe if I was gay, I would. But I would want it straight from her. I would only be impressed if the guy actually wrote it himself because it came straight from HIS heart. And I would know because we women can tell. We have a very good sense of women's intuition.

Women like poems. They like the fact that you thought so much of them to write it on paper...only you know her though like if she is the mushy,loving and the emotion type cause she will adore it...a women who is not all gushy like that will just think is cute. Either way its appreciated...that is without words.

girls love originality! they like that u will do something unique for them that comes from your heart and expresses exactly what u feel, while still being you! poetry is a personal thing some like it some hate it, personally i'd rather see my man fixing up a hotrod then sitting on a swinging chair writing poetry.

if she is a romantic type girl she will love poems... if she is the outgoing type she would prefer to go somewhere with u and be with u...

I love poetry! I like to write it too. I think it would be romantic idea for you to do that for your girl! Just go with what's in your heart.

girls like peoms with feelings, not descriptions so much.
And yes, unique poems help too. Try to write your feelings about her down as best you can and as poetic as you can.
