when a girl keep looking at you but when you talk to her, she doesn't seem interested

It can mean a lot of things. I think it's common for a girl to be interested in a guy but if the guy approaches her, she'll act like she's not interested. Maybe she's shy or nervous or most likely doesn't want to seem desperate.

shes probably shy. Keep trying to get her interested by watching funny movies and talking. Get to know her better.

Ahhh...memories. She might be in an art class and is memorizing one of your facial features for a sketch or a sculpture.

I say this because when I was in middle school, a classmate in my art class asked me if he could use my nose as a model for a paper mache head.

Playing hard to get or maybe when she took a closer look she changed her mind. I'm not trying to mean but thats happen to me before.

Maybe she thinks your hot but when you start talking your actually uninteresting and boring causing her to lose all interest.

she found out through your talking that you're not that interesting...the book doesn't match the cover..work on making interesting effective small chat.

For me, I look at boys that I like, but I'm too shy to talk to them.

She could just be shy like the others said, or she could be trying to play 'hard to get', ask her what's up? You might get a straight answer out of her... but I doubt it... try asking her out?
