Is it true that only the only true versions of the Koran are written in Arabic. What about everyone else?

Ok let me be clear! Is an English Koran less holy than one that an Arab might have.

Let me be more clear.In the view of an Arab muslim, generally speaking, is an English version of the Koran less holy than one written specifically in Arabic for Arabs.

The Quran is the collection of the revelation which angel Gabriel brought for the prophet over the period of many years and the language chosen for these messages was Arabic.
So the language of the collection of these revelation is Arabic but it has been translated in most major languages, so that every reader can understand easily the orders which are sent by God to us and try to abide by these laws.
There is no doubt of the Holiness of Quran because its Godly, there is a reward for any one who recite it!!
Now to answer the second part of your question, yeah the Arabic Quran is holy as compared to its translation in different languages. Apart from the holiness of the Quran, God also conveyed many orders and because we have to abide by these rules so we can do so only by getting a good meaning of what are these orders, for this specific reason we can read the translation of Quran in our own language!

absolutely not. the koran is written in every language man speaks. it is encouraged to read it in arabic and memorize in arabic, because the true meaning is in arabic. when u translate languages it doesnt translate perfectly or exactly. in arabic the koran rhymes so its much easier to memorize. for a muslim it is not offending to read it in arabic and try a little harder. it sounds beautiful in arabic. all muslims are encouraged to read the koran no matter what language it is written in.

i dont think so....arabic version could mean that its the "original" version, however, english translation will not necessary mean that the koran preachings are twisted....language translated preachings are made to touch other nationalities and spread the muslim teachings...
