Being one of these "church goers" myself, I find that too often we forget about the people around us. My advice is that we as Christians should be steping out in faith, trusting in God and reaching out to help others more instead of just sitting and leanning back in our spiritual recliners we need to get out there and live what we are so used to hearing on sunday mornings and show people the kind of love God has for them.

Know your bible first. Also read classic Christian writings. There's a lot of bad theology going around. Worldliness of a decidedly American style has long since crept into the church, and now has a stronghold. Most of the mega-churches won't even talk about sin anymore because it might offend someone (thus some of the answers here....)

Your all wrong. Respect ever ones beliefs. If you don't stand for something, then you will fall for anything. Except Scott With some of these answers. You can see what parents are teaching there kids. The youth of the future need to stand up and stop following their peers.

Do whatever you want during the week, like lie cheat and steal, then ask for forgiveness on Sat. then go to church on Sunday...oh wait...Christians are already doing that every week
Lawyers, Judges, and even Presidents...Mmmm...interesting

Is the new Testament & teachings of Christ the ultimate "truth" from heaven? Why did he said that he will be back (2nd Coming!)
So that means there is higher expression of truth that is coming with "him" when he comes back.
So if you can find it in your church (group) now then continue coming. If not then find it!

Don't for a while and see if you're any less divine and godly.
If so, you're missing the point.
