Yes they can. The mother drops eggs every day for a period of a week. If she mates on Monday with one dog, chances are her eggs are fertile by that male. Then on Thursday, she gets bred from a different dog, yep, it's his batch of puppies.
AKC would require DNA tests to identify which father is the parent of what puppy.

Yes. There are even breeders doing it, and then doing DNA testing to determine who the father is. If there are 2 studs you want to use, you can do so with one litter. I am tempted to do this with my next litter, there are 2 males I really like. I wonder, if you do an AI, if the sperm can just be mixed together...

No - after mating, the male's penis swells and they are stuck together for 20-30 minutes...this ensures that one male's sperm will get to the eggs, and that other dogs cannot come mate with the female.
Cats can have a single litter of kittens with more than one father, however.

i've heard of it happening, both in dogs and humans, albeit more in dogs than in humans. Basically more than one egg gets released, sometimes a few days one after the other - if in both cases they get fertilized, then a human woman would have 2 babies, each with a different father, and a dog-mother would have a litter with 2 different fathers.

Yes they can. However, no one pup will have more than one father.
Dogs only release eggs during the actual mating act, so every time they mate, there is another chance for those sperm to get lucky.

no they are all from one father.. just like humans unless something very wrong or irregular.. they are just like humans and a dog only can get pregnant by one male unless the female by a chance had two eggs and had alot of sex with two different males at the time of pregnancy.. chances are very very very slim to none..
hope that helps..
