No you won't go to hell. God loves homosexuals too. But, he hates what they do. He speaks of it in the bible as turning away from the natural order of things, and doing that which is unseemly. also,if they continue in their ways they will be lost. There is no hell that burns for eternity. There will be a fire that destroys the wicked, but they will be burned up. Even Satan will be burned up. He is not in control of hell like some people teach. He knows whats coming, and no doubt he will burn longer than ordinary sinners. God is a fair God. Would it be fair to burn a person who has lived a nice life, but never given himself to Jesus as long as a person like Hitler? We will be burned according to our works. The Bible says some will burn like stubble in a field, and others like the fat of lambs.

To me a sin is something that harms either yourself or others.
Who does Homosexuals hurt? Does it hurt you in any way that they are Homosexual? Does it hurt themselves in any way?
The answer is NO.
Does your belief that Homosexuals should be treated like everybody else hurt others in any way? Does it hurt you in any way?
Again the answer is NO
If you really look at the Bible you will see that god has given us a lot of laws. All of these laws show that God does not want us to hurt ourselves and others. However there are some laws like Homosexuals that don't seem to fit with Gods overall message. Why do you think that is? It's because man added them to the Bible. Man added a lot of different things to the Bible.
One of the ways I tell people how to see the truth is reading with your heart and not your head.
Another way I tell people is first read the Bible to try to understand gods overall messages. Then reread the Bible to see what fits with that message and what does not fit.
Reading with your heart is the better of the 2 methods. For it is the only way you can actually see the truth. The other way you can put in some of your own personal prefrences.

I'm a former Christian, and I don't believe you're in any trouble.
If nothing else, Christianity states that we have free will, so by passing laws that prohibit homosexuality, you are superceding that free will and placing your law above it. So, Christianity doesn't truly wish there to be a "gay law"
More than that, Jesus reached out to those who sinned without thumbing his nose. He didn't persecute those who sinned, he reached out to them.
The condemnation for homosexuality coincides well with the Middle Ages and their views on same sex relations. The Bible was often copied and copied again by monks of the time, and it was not uncommon for certain "interpretations" to occur. There's a book on this actually at Borders, though I forget the name.
So, no, you won't go to Hell for being decent to another human being.

I believe that a homosexual that recognizes that his or her chosen lifestyle is displeasing to God and seeks His forgiveness isn't going to hell and should be treated like everyone else because, well, he or she is like everyone else. We all have sin in our lives, things that we do that are displeasing to God and if we have repented are actively seeking to follow Him and His will then we'll all end up in the same place, heaven. Am I going to hell? No, because I know that Jesus Christ died on the cross to pay the debt for my sin so that I wouldn't have to go to hell.

There are no contradictions in the Holy Bible if it is properly understood through the guidance of the Holy Spirit and sincere study.
The devil is trying to destroy mankind in direct opposition to Jesus Christ who died that we through his Crucifixion, burial and Resurrection might be saved.
I would recommend that that you read the King James version of the Bible. It contains the answers to your questions.
God the Father knew you before you we born in eternity past and when you were formed in your mother womb. We are born with a Soul that will live for eternity. We must decide as a free will agent to accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior or not.
Our decision determines whether we spend eternity in Heaven or Hell.
I Pray that you make the right decision.
Jesus Christ Loves You.
God Bless you is my prayer.
David

Of course Homosexuals should be treated like any one else. They are.
We see lots of homosexual behavior in the animal kingdoms, and science has proved it is a real normal part of life.
The bible is wrong and its outrageous nonsense on homosexuality is one of the ways to know this.
As for hell, there is no such place.

Why would you? Jesus said to love everybody. That means that you cannot be delibertly mean to anyone, even if they disagree with you.
That doesn't mean that you have to support everything that someone does, however. Would you buy free beer for an alcoholic just so they could kill their liver?
And why do people think that we are "treating" homosexuals different just because we disagree with them and/or lifestyle, and are assertive enough to say so? Are they mature enough to handle a difference of beilef?

You won't go to Hell for that but I can't say about anything else you may do! All people should be treated the same.

No not necessarily. It depends on how you're treating them. The way you stop from going to hell is to repent of your sins and claim and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. That's the key! Through Jesus you are able to live a righteous life.

I agree, being a homosexual is just as much of a sin as stealing. You will not go to hell for that thought. You will go to Hell if you don't believe that Jesus died for your sins and through his resurrection overcame sin. It's not just the death. The resurrection matters too.
