sounds like you have alot of common sense but not much booksmarts...your probably a slow learner which doesnt mean your dumb...if you try you can learn ...if you set your mind to it. your already a step in the right direction if your on a pc, you have an almost infinite supply of knowledge at your disposal to learn at your own pace...and im sure someone around you would be willing to help you to if your motivated to help yourself.

Intelligence is the ability to learn, not necessarily the possession of particular skills. Don't worry too much about it. (I can't do brain surgery, but that doesn't make me stupid. What you need to know, you know sooner or later.)
Two things really helped me 1) a Harbrace college handbook and 2) a dictionary (mainly used to check spellings).
Study both. A little each day, just up to the point that you feel a bit bored by continuing. Each day it gets easier. The grammar can be read starting with any given section on a part of speech. You need not hover over each section, just quickly read a page or two in each and see if what is said makes any sense. If it doesn't, skim over it again (but forge on even if it isn't making sense). The dictionary can best be used for looking up those words you often hear but don't quite understand. Just make a mental note (or as I used to, an actual written note) to look them up. When you do, write them down in a list and read over it from time to time. (After a bit, you can toss that word list and begin another.)
To most people, these books are rather dry reading. (To me, however, they are really fascinating because I have a propensity to write.)
Good luck! Hang in there! Stick with those cars! There's money in "them thar'" engines!

Your talents lie in practical skills. Some ppl can learn everything well in school and yet have trouble changing a light globe, so don't feel bad. We are all different. What does matter is that we live good and productive lives.

How can somebody inclusive of a Christian have all Honors/AP instructions yet yet nevertheless be so dumb via fact they suspect in God and do issues for their God. you may seem at it from the Terrorists eyes. it relatively is not approximately, "YEA enable'S circulate homicide some human beings" it relatively is approximately sacrificing your self for Allah, or whichever God they suspect in, i do no longer relatively understand...

Believe it or not, these two examples take different parts of the brain. Here is a question for you, how can I do well at grammar and be a horrible speller? Please, don't worry about what you can't do and focus on what you can.

Need to learn both. Cars now are very complicated and use computers to fix them. Have to read the instructions.
Looks like you get your point across
