my cat is 63 days preg. She started spotting yesterday at 9am....this morning at 7:30am she gave birth to a stillborn. I can still feel maybe two more kittens....they are kicking and moving. She is active, eating, drinking, going to the bathroom. No bleeding, no more contractions at all. What do I do? Is she still okay????

Cats can be in labor for several hours. You should call your vet if the following happens: Twenty minutes of intense labor occurs without a kitten being delivered, Ten minutes of intense labor occurs when a portion of a kitten or a fluid-filled bubble is visible in the birth canal, The mother experiences sudden depression or marked lethargy, The mother's body temperature exceeds 103ºF (39.4ºC) (via a rectal thermometer) Fresh blood discharges from the queen's vagina for more than 10 minutes, If the cat goes for more than 5 hours before delivering the second kitten.

Usually the 'Mother" knows what to do in this situation. If you feel that there is something wrong I would call an Emergency Vet or any Vet that is in the yellow pages. Tell them your "Situation" and then they can tell you what to do from there. Most likely she is in labor but not heavily in labor. She will have them. Sometimes "The Kitty" will go around the house and have "Kittens" in diffirent spots. Its what soots them best. I've seen a cat take its sweet time in delivering her Kittens. Took her 2 days. Like I said above. If you feel something is wrong. Just call a vet. They can direct you from there. Good Luck and Congrats on your kitties!

If the other kittens don't come out soon you should contact the vet. From what I understand, their labor can take several hours though. Usually cats are pretty good at doing what they need to do.

My cat was 6 months old whenshe had her 6 kitties. The last one I helped her with.
Get a towel and helpher wipe the kits off
use Your finger nail to cut through the appendage.
If You're really scared take her to a vet!

I think that's part of a cat being pregnant. I mean I'm no professional but if you start to get really worried you should go to a vet.

She had a miscarriage. The other babies will come out when it's time. If you feel that she's not going to be OK then take her to the vet.
