You know I was thinking the same thing....it's like comparing apples to broccoli.... no relevance whatsoever. I say get rid of the ILLEGALS, then maybe we can tackle the homeless/welfare situation. Why the pro illegals even make this an issue is beyond me......

this question keeps me up at night. I mean illegals have completely messed up the American image of its Latino population, and the have nothing to do with the problem, why do so many refuse to acknowledge the flood of illegals hitting the boarders as an act of war but if a boat from Scotland pulled up in new york today carrying 132,000,000 people we would call that what class? That's right an invasion, and no matter how much you point out your problem is with illegals, everyone wants to call you a bigot or tell you how they help provide cheap labor, see the problem is racism is hating someone for there...race not hating them because of there choices, i mean if a rapist were black would it in turn make you a racist to hate him no, and as far as cheap labor here in America we have a thing called minimum wage allowing this to be bypassed by under the table cash wages, is denying these people of there civil rights, not to mention stealing a job from an American in an already depressed economy. If you call a person that destroys a building a terrorist, then what do you call someone who destroys 40 years of civil right progress?

I agree with you. I don't know why people pick on homeless people in particular. They are living a degraded hopeless life. However, If a natural disaster were to ever occur in Arizona, I would follow a homeless person over my boyfriend, I know I would survive for sure. They know how to truly live without nothing. And, homeless people know where the stand and who they are, I respect anyone who stands alone with such conflict and opposition towards their way of life. I think I can spin an issue too. But I really believe that too.

I dont even pretend to understand the logic that is used to make some of the connections the pro criminal types use. It boggles my little mind.
It is true that they will use almost any tactic to cloud the issue, and distract people away from the fact that crossing our borders without the proper authorization is a criminal act.
It is a good thing that I have four eyes, that way I can still see through all the b.s. LOL!

So true ... legal citizens SHOULD be the concern of the U.S., but are they? And personally I think the most important question is border security ... I presume you all heard that Venezuela is busy giving out passports to various Middle Eastern gentlemen ... for entry to Mexico ... need I say more ... but hey ... as long as greedy businesses get cheap labor ... who cares about border security? Bring on a new 9/11 ... won't be long now ....

Because as always it's 'political' and 'racist'. Nicely labeled to distract form the true fact. It is ILLEGAL and that is it. Cloak it and paint it however you want. It's ILLEGAL. Try to make people feel guilty if they speak against it. IF some in this country speeds and claims they were simply trying to get home to their family to support them or whatever would the crime be erased? NO! Law is law and that's it. Nobody said they were all bad or criminal but they are ILLEGAL ILLEGAL ILLEGAL.Get it!

Illegal immigration multiplies all of that, crime, homelessness, welfare abuse (getting it illegally - money should go to legal citizens), drugs and gangs. All crimes are going up because of illegals, our jails are over crowded with them. and 80% of the inmates in L.A. county jails are Illegals.
It's not irrelevant. It's important.

The majority of ILLEGAL immigrants are criminals where they come from, they are here running from justice in there own countries. That is why breaking the immigration laws means nothing to them. A law breaker thinks nothing of breaking any law.

As long as America and any other nation is a sovereign nation, it will never be legal to enter another country illegaly no matter how many are all born equal or disguise it as human rights.

The point is that we try to take care of our own, one way or another. Other countries should take care of their own, rather than encouraging their poor to break our laws and come here.
