i dont think she thinks she is better than the men, she just receives sponsors exemptions to enter these events, dont get me wrong, she is a great golfer, but she just cant hack it with the men right now, maybe some day she will, her 280-290 yard drives put her near the top of the womens ranks, but she gets carried by most of the best men players, as long as she keeps getting free rides to these mens events, she will keep playing.

Think about it. You are 16 and offered to play with the best golfers in the world in some cases. Would you pass up the chance if someone gave it to you? I highly doubt that. This is why she plays in a few tournaments with the men (by the way she does better than at least a few of them in the tournaments) .

I totally agree....I think she 1st needs to dominate HER tour before she tries to play with the men..Annika has not even tried to play with the men again and she would be a better competitor then Wie.Annika plays with Tiger alot so she has a pretty good idea where her game is compared to the men.

well, she's getting sponsors' exemptions and i don't think any 16 year old would refuse to play in a pga tour event. it also creates a lot of exposure for nike golf and more people tune in to watch these smaller events if she's playing in them, whether you like it or not. i'm sure she'll make a cut in a men's event pretty soon, and she will win many tournaments on the lpga tour.

Because it sells tickets and nike can use that money to make up for what they are paying the highest paid loser of all time. Not that shes not a really good player but honestly thats all she is , good, not great. At least not yet.

It is because some sponsers of tournaments are insistennt that she play. It stinks that she has to steal the spotlight.

Just let her keep trying. She'll make the cut sooner or later. She has alot of potential I must say.

Its also about ex-poser . As we all sit here and talk about her she is getting just what her agent and advertisers want , the all mighty dollar.
