Yes, all of the above. And, sometimes if I have not been eating right or taking vitamins (which, personally, I have found are very helpful), those are also reasons. Time off is helpful, though! Sounds like you need some. Oh, and at least one or 2 pats on the back! Sounds like you're doing a lot for others and very little for yourself.

yeah i have felt that way. i noticed that when im like that i usually have an attitude with every one.......except my dog and it dawned on me that this was my problem and im treating my dog better then my wife and kids and have had to change things...... i have driven over the road hauling cars in the south east for the better part of this past decade and there are days that i wake up in the mood and days people in general send me over the top ( 80,000 pounds of fury going down the road) i realized i was mad and decided to stop and cool down at the truck stop was a dairy queen i got a cone and things seems to work out the more i realized what was happening was when i was in a mood, icecream seemed to replace my mood swings and became my so called "happyplace" i know it sounds stupid and maybe doesnt make sense but find your happy place somthing you can do for 10 minutes that really love, hell go grab a cone and sit in your car see if it works for you maybe there is somthing in it ....

ps i just my tongue at you and told you are a freaken nat carrying a pink elephant which by chance has a booger hanging from its trunk that he just picked out of the queen of englands bodyguards' girlfriend nose while she was painting her toenails with gray ship primer stolen from the us navy 12years 3months and 9 days ago in portmouth va where it was sitting by the pay phone next to the docks on a cold rainy day.....

Could be lack of sleep or maybe bottled up anger. Try going outside for a little bit, soak up the sun. Stay away from people for a while, listen to some music, and eat something like chocolate. That should clear it right up.

LOL, it could be PMS, or it could be that you didn't get enough sleep. Something tiny but irritating could have happened earlier and has been steadily (but unconsciously) been building up, or it could be a random Day to be Peevish. Chocolate usually helps me.

Whoa, I just read your additional details. That SURE would do it for me! It's time to take a personal day and leave your husband to babysit while you recharge.

Maybe you did not sleep well
maybe you are lacking nutrients
maybe it is hormones changing
Maybe you had bad food last nite for dinner/supper
maybe you have been in a good mood for a long time and it was just time to have a bad mood to balance your emotions.

just some suggestions

Yeah, everybody has days like that. Just relax, stay away from other people if possible, do something nice for yourself, and you'll feel better in a little while.

blame it on the weather. is scientific fact that the amount of positive and negative ions in the atmosphere effects our moods. people feel antsy before a storm and feel better after a storm

Many, many times. It could be depression or anxiety. Before I went on my meds, I could actually physically feel the anger in my gut. Poor DH got most of the brunt of that.

I have those days, but then I get some for about 2-3 hours straight and it is all okay!

Sure, bad moods happen and it is not always easy to know why.

Ten kids plus other people? You must be kidding. Well, I suppose, you have got your reason to be grumpy at times...

Any way you can escape sometimes???
