i agree with septicemia but you would notice that septicemia is the presence of a microbe in the blood plus a series of defense reactions called sepsis. if there is bacteria in the blood you term it bacteremia and is not equal to septicemia. if there is a poison in the blood (without a microbial agent) we don't have really a general term for that. it depends on the type of toxin and gets a relevant name.
