When I was younger I used to have high grade fevers (103-104F) and need to know what type of things I should look out for. I have had various memory problems while growing up.

Did the fevers have anything to do with it?

What can I do to work on it and what should I look out for as an effect of them?

Sometimes I would get twitches but not a full blown seizure.

Did you have any febrile seizures associated with those high temperatures?

A seizure is like a short-circuit in the brain, and if a child's fever gets so high that they have a seizure, it is considered to be potentially damaging (or at least that's what I remembered from graduate school 15 years ago).

I did search a lot to find potential complications from high-grade fevers or febrile seizures, and actually found that neither have any significant long-term complications.
