I'm primarily talking about the ones who answer even non religious questions with scripture. The ones that feel that yahoo answeres needs to be policed by GOD through them.

The word of God is offensive, isn't it? It's okay though, becuase at least your getting the word from somewhere.
______________________________________________

It's not offensive, its annoying, If i argue with someone we can reason, if I argue with a way outdated book, specially if chopped up in pieces and taken out of context, its pointless, because even if i can prove the book is wrong, whoever wrote that stuff wont accept its wrong, because to them it cant be false

even if i have the reason, and the book is wrong, since it is "the" book, people will just either ignore or deny that it is wrong or false

it would be the same with any book, imagine i take a 300 pages superman comic book and say "this is the true word of god", and if the comic says clouds are made of cotton, and you say, no, clouds are not made of cotton, and i say "yes, they are, it says on the superman comic so it must be true" and you say, no, no way, superman is false, and i say, "not its not, i feel hope in the fact that superman exists, not right here but he does" and then you say, supermans powers are illogical ang go against all we know, and i say "well, superman is super, he comes from krypton, so what we know doesnt apply" and you say, but its just a comic, its not true and then i say "it is true, here it is written and colored in wonderful colors" and you say, but the clouds are not made of cotton and i say "here, in this page of the comic it says so, so it must be"

see.. that's pretty annoying, dont you think?

As strange as this may sound, I don't answer all questions with scripture... and I rarely copy and paste because my online text is rendered in the King James Version, which is difficult for many people to understand (thanks to the thick Old English).

You may not believe this, but not every religious question REQUIRES an answer straight from the text... many of them actually call for answers based on inference and experience...

I would hope that most people are answering questions the way they are asked... if it calls for scripture... give scripture... if you need scripture to back up what you are saying, give scripture... But a little common sense and courtesy goes a long way in answering most of the questions I've seen on here.

I can and do at times. It depends on how long the answer is. I have made up several answers. Seems to be a lot of the same questions over and over, I won't type the same thing 100 times at length. If you choose not to read it, thats up to you. I only post it for people who care to read it.
No. My friend. I will not stop it. Sorry. If I can help 1 person, thats great.
YOU, just remain calm and loving, and merely overlook any cut & paste.

Have you not discovered that this is a religious/spiritual forum?.....religious/spiritual people are suppose to answer questions in a religious/spiritual way!.....And NO! I for one WILL NOT STOP USING SCRIPTURES TO QUESTIONS, Whether I Paste Them Or Not!...And I Hope Other Religious/Spiritual People Do The Same!....So Deal With It!......Ps. There are other forums that you can log onto besides a religious/spiritual forum, no one is making you log onto this site!.....So, why do you non-believing atheists log onto this site!....why?....you non-believing atheists, agnostics, heathens proves yourself everyday to log onto this religious/spiritual site for the purpose of condemning, judging, harassing, disrespecting, mocking, and insulting the believers on this site!....you are not in a position to tell believers what to do!...If You're So ANNOYED, Then Go To Another Site!.......log on with those who believes the same way you believe!.....Ps. There Is Nothing More ANNOYING than an Heathen atheists non-believing GOD Hater trying to tell Believers what to do and how to do it when they have NO FELLOWSHIP, Or SPIRITUAL CONNECTION WITH GOD THEMSELVES!.....

I copy-and-paste when I want to include a Scripture quotation in my answers or questions. I certainly didn't mean to annoy anyone by doing that. I don't type well enough to type it in myself. I'm not sure I understand your question. Can you suggest another way?

I don't use scripts that often - but I simply quit reading long diatribe after the question..... I really don't need the lecture to give my answer. When I cut-n-paste its short , and from an article that usually illustrates my point quite well.
~~~~~~~~~~Example; to a Q regarding loving muslims I pasted;
Death for Muslims who fail to pray
Mogadishu
July 7, 2006
Somali Muslims who fail to perform daily prayers will be killed in accordance with Koranic law under an edict issued by a leading cleric.
The requirement for Muslims to pray five times a day under penalty of death appears to confirm the hard-line nature of the increasingly powerful Sharia courts in the Somali capital, Mogadishu.
"He who does not perform prayers will be considered as infidel and Sharia law orders that that person be killed," said Sheikh Abdalla Ali, a founder and high-ranking official in the Supreme Islamic Council of Somalia.
"Sharia law orders the killing of any Muslim person when he fails to perform prayers," he said in an address at the opening of a new Islamic court in Mogadishu's southern Gubta neighbourhood
I hope this kind of cut-n-paste is ok with you!
I don't I just answer from My Knowledge of the word (I usually paraphrase when "quoting scripture" anyway.) Also when I actually "copy" a scripture I make sure to anotate it so I am not violating any copywrite laws.
It purely potential you've a phobia and also you pick to conquer it,as you should offend human beings on the point of you in case you dont. search for suggestion from a health care specialist before it receives worse and look at to stay in a detention center cellular, purely because you could't face going outdoors and seeing a mosque, temple or church.
