There are probably more Jehovah's Witnesses among your classmates and workmates than you realize. Those situations don't often lend themselves well to evangelizing, and may be frowned upon by management and administration as a departure from the secular professionalism of those institutions.

While a Witness would never compromise Scriptural principles, he might feel that preaching in such a secular environment would serve mostly to complicate his secular pursuits without any real expectation of being effectiveness. A reputation for unprofessionalism could even cause reproach upon one's faith.

Rather than considering their time on Yahoo Answers to be evangelizing, many Jehovah's Witnesses view it an enjoyable aside to their personal study. Witnesses tend to be quite familiar with the Scriptures and eager to learn more. That's what Yahoo Answers is about, sharing knowledge!

I am not a Jehovah's Witness but it is the only religion World wide that does not have "different laws" ie they do not believe one should receive blood, this is world wide with no exceptions. They are not like Catholics (I have nothing against Catholics just an example) where the Pope says no contraception, but how many use it?

Because the JW's on YAnswers know they can give bullshit and horseshit answers to people without having a person laugh to their face. Instead, they could accuse everybody of having an ulterior motive instead of owning up to the fact that they simply can't logically defend what they believe in.

It is easier to talk about your beliefs here than out there in the offline world. Nobody knows who you are or what you really look like--photos can be enhanced. Most religious people are more comfortable here than facing a person in the real world.

They are the only religion that practices what they preach. And Don is an *sshole from the feet up. Truly. And no, I am not one of them, if I were I'd not deny it.

Hum, how many places have you worked?.
If you don't see any JW's at your work place it is probably because they are actually working, not asking questions on Yahoo, like yourself.

According to their teaching, only 144,000 people will be saved, so they need to mislead as many people as possible to give themselves a better chance.
