They would get into trouble for allowing you to drink. If you are having a meal, & wine is served, you may drink some wine with your food. You also may have wine with religious communion services at home. Drinking to get drunk will get your parents into trouble.

It doesn't matter if your parents permit it, it's still against the law.
In that case, the law would find that your parents would be in even more trouble than you would...the very least charge would be supplying alcohol to a minor.
Generally in most states, they don't bother with this kind of stuff unless there is a complaint...then they knock on your door, and unlike what someone above stated, they do NOT need a warrant if they have probable cause...and that's not that hard to prove in many cases.
Generally, it's all academic and nobody cares.
Where it gets hairy is always in the same spot. You throw a party, your parents don't care (and even may provide alcohol), and then some of your idiot friends get trashed and start doing donuts in the neighbors yard, or get pulled over for DUI, or God forbid hurt someone. Then it gets really ugly, really fast. In addition to numerous charges, your parents are now open for a civil lawsuit. Goodbye house.
Rule of thumb: Nobody cares one bit what you do, until somebody complains or gets hurt. Be smart about what you are doing and you can have a pretty happy childhood and enjoy a great relationship with your parents.

and if the cops...what, ? To try to answer your question (although you don't say what the cops are specifically doing in this senerio---
#1 The police cannot enter any home w/o a warrant & a warrant has to be specific on what to search for. A warrant must be issued by a judge & a just cannot issue a warrant to enter a home unless there is EXTREMELY GOOD KNOWLEDGE that something illegal is taking place in that specific home.
#2 You dont say if this is having a glass of wine or beer with dinner or rip-roaring drunken-ness.
A. A glass of wine or beer along with a meal is common in Europe -- for younger kids it is watered down.
B. Any desent, caring, loving parent would not allow any minor to get drunk, or any adult to get drunk either.
A parent who allows a minor to 'just drink' is in violation of the law -- anywhere !!! Alcohol is not a GAME !!! a PARENT WHO LETS YOU DO THIS THIS IS: NOT AN ADULT, IS IN VIOLATION OF LAW , IS IMMORAL & INCOMPETANT AS A PARENT & SHOULD BE LOCKED UP !!!!
The children of such parents should be sent to good, caring, loving homes where they will receive guidence into becoming a desent, self-sufficient. educated adult of tomorrow.
Good luck! I hope you can find a safe & loving home!

Your parents can be fined for contributing to a minor even if you are at home. It's not legal to drink until you are of legal drinking age.

Not necessarily, because in some states, if you are in your parents home--their private property--you can't get into trouble. That is, if they are there and there aren't any other underage kids involved that aren't their own kids.

yes and actually your parents would get in trouble for distrubting to a minor. If you are real young like 16 or under they may even bring in CPS (child protective services) and find you a new home for awhile.

The answer is yes. You get a minor and your folks go to jail. If your folks are too stupid to keep you from drinking, be nice to them and at least keep them out of it. How would you feel if they went to jail for contributing to the delinquency of a minor?
