Use the tools of your giggles religion to realize that your mom is coming from fear and is not ill-intentioned. And then send love to your mom, using giggle concepts, if applicable.

How can you believe this? Read the Bible (Genesis) then read the Book of Faries. Look at the similarities. Look at how everything was created. The bible came first. Jesus does love you even if you dont love him, not giggles. Your mother cares for you even in spite of what she said. She was trying to scare you and by doing that she was misrepresenting everything christianity stands for. Please take a look back at what Chrisitianity really stands for. It includes a God that loves you no matter what as well as doing the right thing in all circumstances. And as far as your mother goes, just talk to her calmly. Tell her the reasons behind your converting and maybe she will understand somewhat. DONT YELL. it will not help. She will still want you to come back to chrisianity, as would I, but if this is what you really want, then I respect that. She should too.

I'm a christian, and I don't know, but i was taught that God loves you no matter what, and he's done so much for you and he loves you so much that the least you can do is accept him into your heart and love him back. It sounds cheesy, but millions of people have done it. Now how many "Giggles" followers are there? Let's say you love a guy name John, and your super rich or something or really hot, or popular or all. You love John soo much. He's going out with you, but only to be the rich/popular/hot girl's boyfriend. He really doesn't like you at all. Say you are God, and that's how he feels (except a lot worse) when people (us) he loves so much don't even believe in him. Pretty painful. I'm just trying to help out but do what you feel is right, and hopefully that is the right choice.

Your mom doesn't hate you she loves you and so does Jesus. She is afraid that you are being tricked. Giggles doesn't love you and besides as you already said Giggles does not require your belief in him so then you might as well stop believing in him because it wont affect anyting Correct? So come back to Jesus and if Giggles really does love you he shouldn't stop. (however I suspect that you will really learn what hate is when you turn your back on Giggles I know when I QUIT Loving Giggles I SAW the hatred as he attempted to force me back.

You are under the impression there are multiple gods that you can pick and choose. I suggest a long thought about 'how did I get here' and 'who made me' is in order. This giggles belief system seems good if you want to do whatever you want without consequence, but won't go very far in fulfilling your life. It is kind of like saying that your parents aren't your parents because you don't like their rule system, so you will be raised by a stuffed rabbit.

I think the problem she has is you're not taking yourself seriously by taking on a faith of "giggles". I really don't think she would mind if you didn't believe in your family's faith but takes this as an insult to the religion she grew up with and a mockery of her values. Personally I don't care what you do but I do encourage you to treat this with more respect

Pixies and Fairies?!? That's just as bad as your mother's invisible friend Jesus. You're both out of your minds. But you are right about one thing. If God sends good people to hell just because they didn't say his name every day then he's a pretty big asshole. Tell your mom you'd rather go to hell and party with rock stars than get stuck in heaven with her and a bunch of her closed-minded and boring friends.

Nothing surprises me anymore, so if you say you converted to Giggles, then good for you. (If you're just yanking your mom's chain, that's not nice.)
But if your mom is a bible-thumping zealot, then nothing you can do will change that. She believes you're going to hell, and that's that (I don't think you are, but that's another story). You can either put up with her nonsense, because she's not going to change, or stick to your guns & realize that your mom is no longer in your life.

Jennifer,
Both you and your mother, are victims of a viscious smear campaign against our Father in heaven. The men who created the world's religions, were seeking power for themselves, and have mislead a great many people about the true nature of God. Under the guidance of the angels who rebelled against Him, the men who created our religions have made up doctrines that are complete lies. In order to try to scare people into doing what they are told by these religious leaders, we have been taught that if we disobey God, He is going to throw us into a lake of fire forever. Complete rubbish. Our Father, is the God of Love. Loving people don't throw their children into lakes of fire. In fact, God says in scripture, that the thought of sacrificing children has never even entered His mind, and condemns those who do. He loves us all, and it is not His will that any should perish. He wants us to surrender our hearts and minds to Him. He then sends His Spirit into us, and we become blended with Him. We are then reborn as new creatures, guided by His Spirit which dwells within us. Of course, if you utterly reject Him, you will go with the fallen angels to their just reward. I don't think I want to see that up close.
