It would be considered child abuse if you have children under the age of 18. For yourself I'm not sure. If the building has been condemned and your found living in it you could get caught for trespassing. Stay where you are, you obviously have electricity there or you would have no computer working.

Yes. A home or building like that would not be given a Certificate of Occupancy by the city/town it's located in.

If it is in an urban area, yes. A house like that wouldn't meet code. If you are in a very rural area, such as the Ozark mountains, then it might not be illegal, just inconvenient.

If you have children living with you then yes it is against the law. They will come take your children away. Now..if its just you and the bugs...knock yourself out.
