It's the constantly being beaten over the head with the bible on so many topics and the rants about going to hell, and the condecention. I think Christ was a great teacher and that you could not pick a better role model. It's just that a lot of Christians act nothing like him.

Am I an anti-Christian because I am not a Christian?

I think Christians are just fine and dandy...just I totally disagree with many of their beliefs. To me, they make no sense or just a corrutption of other faiths. I may be a Seeker, but I don't believe I am seeking Jesus.

Its a tough job but someone has to do it. I personally seek the truth and the truth, in my opinion, lies outside any formal religion like Christianity. People of the World need to set aside all these foolish beliefs about spirits and gods and trust themselves by doing good and seeking knowlege to better humanity. To much pain and suffering attached to the Christian or any other religion. Religions complicate good human instincts by saying that people must not trust themselves but trust in gods and spirits. Look around you and see all the strife that continues over religious and land issues etc. Christianity is just another TRAP! Man was "brainwashed" thousands of years ago! Some people just like to "stick it to" Christians in hopes that they will, someday soon, leave people alone to get on with good business. Some former Christians that have been violated by that church are now seeking revenge. "Spare the rod, spoil the child"

I think anti Christian is a bit harsh, but maybe fed up with the fundies. There are alot of people who would be content to convert everyone to Christianity. or at least look down their noses at non Christians. We are living in the information age. Which is why Christianity is in such decline right now. People finally have other options.

Why do so many closed minded Christians show up at forums like this and be rude to non Christians instead of accepting and loving like we were taught to by Jesus.

You will teach people about the goodness of Christianity by being fair and kind - not judgemental and rude.

Do you consider any other religion than Christian, anti-Christian?I think that even the churches are open for everybody. They wouldn't ask you if you are a Christian if you go there and pray. I am glad that there is a forum open for every person from every religion, culture or ethnicity.

Yes I believe there is truth in that 'seekers' come into forums like these. The Bible says that 'eternity is set in the heart of man' so everyone has a sense of God, and search for Him.

Do us all a favor, and get over yourself. This website, Yahoo Answers, is a secular site, as some pointed out, and the Religion and Spirituality category is for people of ALL religions, not just Christians. So take your self righteous, christians are superior bullshit somewhere else.

Probably for the same reason I found this question (in the open "answers" area) Regardless of what forum one posts a question, it will end up in the main answers area.

That said, why is it so ridiculous that people who do not have a faith in any deity go to this section to air their views, in the same way that we are all bombarded and invaded by religious views elsewhere?

Why do so many Christians show up in metaphysical forums? The forum you posted in is religion/spirituality. It does not say, Christians Only.
And I am not "anti-Christian".
Leave others to their otherness.
