Remember, you're eating for two, so you have to get much more food than before. It's also important to make sure you cover all the food groups, so that you're baby gets all the vitamins, fats, and nutrients that it needs. Fruits and vegetables are essential, but you also need rice (and basic staple foods), dairy, wheat, fish (this one is particularly important during pregnancy, because you tend to lose a lot of iron, which is restored through fish) and some meats. Do not worry too much about gaining weight, but rather, also dedicate some time to exercising.
But yes, asking your doctor would be the best thing to do. He can help you develop a meal plan that would benefit the baby, and also suggest possible exercises, that in the long run, will make your pregnancy more tolerable and the birth much easier.

You have increased caloric needs when you are pregnant, and so you may want to consider eating more often than the usual "three squares a day." One easy way is to eat more healthy snacks in between meals, or to eat six small meals a day instead of three large ones. Your dinner sounds great, but you might want to consider eating something right before you go to bed too -- a carton of yogurt, some toast with peanut butter, etc. Something with a little protein in it.
Congratulations on your pregnancy! :)

Drink lots of water. Try not to overeat. I had a baby 3 months ago and gained way too much, but everybody said "Eat eat eat" I was soo stinkin hungry all the time. Eat lots of veggies and fruits. Oh ya, and the doctors said to eat 6 small meals instead of 3 large ones. (I shoulda listened!)

How about adding some runner beans and carrots. Have different fruits available for when you are still feeling hungry. Don't forget to drink at least 8 glasses of water each day. If you feel like nibbling choose non-fating food. Don't want to put on too much weight.

Ask your doctor. Or you can play the pregnant card and eat anything you want. It's not a time for dieting, so feed yourself. Why? Not for the baby, the baby will take the nutrition it needs from you, so you need to eat for yourself to make sure your bones and other systems stay healthy. When my sister was pregnant, she craved american cheese, apples and ovaltine. Go ahead and EAT, lady!

there are a lot of things you can eat and feel satisfadied, but the best thing is water, when I was pregnant I was hungry all the time, so I used to drink a lot of water and pine apple, that will allow you to feel full and will not let you gain so much weight

you could do snack later in the evening, nothing heavy-things with higher water content can give your stomach the feeling of being full-fruits, veggies. or even soup or a smoothie. occasionally, I'll have a small bowl of cereal with skim milk as a relatively healthy snack.

Try more vegetables, fruits. And eat healthy snacks like trail mix, granola bars. Juices are also good.

Drink more water. Keep it at your bedside and fill up on that first and see if you're still hungry.
I'm also pregnant right now. It works for me.
