the amazing thing i realized here in yahoo answer is that ppl in the west are given news only one sided its all about how bad hezboallah is
here is totally different ,we consider them heros wanna their land and prisoners back ,( dont say those who are in prison are terrorist ,for god sake some of them are kids dont exceed 14 years old)

few ppl know this truth and it seems to me that u know it well.without opiening this sites i do know what happen in isreal and in iraq but the amazing thing that the ppl are so idiots coz they consider the ppl who defient theirselves are terrorists and they do not consider the attackers as terrorisms.

Have you ever watched American news? The vast majority of the time I think it is fairly balanced.

As to your argument that some of the prisoners are children, I think that should be taken into consideration, but when these "children" are acting as suicide bombers and shooting guns, they are a danger and are acting as terrorists.

I think that the palestinians/arabs have a point, and I think that the Israelis have a point. I don't always think that the actions of the state of Israel are right, but as a Christian I think the land of Israel belongs to the Jews (and Christians). Why don't these groups just recognize that Israel has a right to exist, and then leave each other alone? Take those who were displaced when modern Israel came into existance into the other arab countries, and help them start a new life (it's been almost 60 years!!!). Won't that be better than this continuing violence?

I am praying for peace to return to the region, but I know that lasting peace will only come from the Prince of Peace...

,You know no one knows for sure if any of the things anyone says is true. People many of us, in the USA were sympathetic to the Arabs, Palestians . Now after 9/11 many people are angry and feel threatened. so they are not so concerned with what happens, Most people here do not understand why all the fighting. you are right we don't live there so we on;y know what information we get from news and from people like you .
so please be patient with us , help us to learn more from real people like you.The history in that part of the world is one of constant turmoil now that is engulfing the entire world. What do you think would be a peaceful way to make this all end so that we may love and rejoice together..

I understand that the conflict is two-sided, but "WE ARE NOT THE TERRORIST" seems off. Both sides engage in offensive action against the other, and militant organizations like Hezboallah are indeed terrorist groups. That alone doesn't justify the other side's actions, but it is important to be able to see from the other side.

I've been on websites slanted toward Israel as well as websites slanted towards the Palastinians. Regardless of the coverage, though, the fact remains that the situation in nominal Israel is deterimntal to both sides.

This is not complicated. A country is a country. A democratic country is a democratic country. A terrorist is a murderer. People who build car bombs are evil. People who strap explosives to their bodies and kill others are fanatics. We are fortunate when they (as they often do) kill themselves before killing others.

Anyone who cannot see the simplicity of what is right and what is wrong, and what is good and what is evil, is in need of serious introspection, therapy, or rejecting that, needs to just stand up and identify themselves with the evil in this world
