Only some Europeans fled persecution, the others came over here to save the heathens, taking their land, or gold, and killing the ones that objected.

There were many different 'Europeans' who came. The Pilgrims fled religious persecution, and I never heard of them forcing their religion on anyone.

The Spanish Missionaries were exactly that. The Pope gave his blessing to Spain's expeditions and sent missionaries to bring God to the heathen natives.

They can give God back, if they want.

Well, that is because history repeats itself, unless you take notice and act.

But anyways, what europeans are you refering to? Pilgrims and Puritans, or explorers, or settlers, who? Maybe the ones that were persecuted were not the same as the ones being persecuted, but you really need to specify.

Because like ALL religions, they were convinced only their way was the best.

Just so you know, the Puritans were persecuted because they were TOO religious - they ticked off most normal people in Holland and England, so they went far away where they persecute themselves and others in peace.

They could have gone the extra step and killed all of them instead of some of them.

Sure would have saved an awful lot of whining.
