1. Personality (after all, we'll be spending a lot of time together - if we get married, a lot of lot of time together). Personality means you need to be fun to be around, interested in the world around you, kind, must have sense of humor.
2. Looks (you may be the father of my children, after all). Looks doesn't mean Brad Pitt either - I find a wide range of men to be handsome - men with long and short hair, baby-faced, hairy chested, artsy-looking, race doesn't matter. But...you must have nice teeth - that's my only hard-and-fast requirement!
3. Financial status. All this really means to me is that you live within your means and are reasonably generous (occaisonal gifts and flowers, fun vacations, a piece of jewelry here and there). I did leave a wonderful man once because he couldn't keep a car and constantly had utilities turned off - I grew up poor and a lifestyle spent cutting it close all the time was my worst fear.
In my 20s, looks and personality might have been reversed (looks no. 1). But once I hit 30 and found my husband, I realize that when you're gonna be together for the long haul (I've been married almost 9 years now), you better like living with the person you're with a lot better than looking at them!
Good luck!

3. I have never looked for financial status in a man! I like to support myself and have been the one who works while my husband stayed home before.

1. Personality is the the most important thing I look for
2. Financial status is the next.. I don't want to be with a Lazy bum that I have to support the rest of my life.
3. If his personality is awesome then that makes him handsome to me.

1) Personality - you can't change it, so you'd better like what you're stuck with
2) Looks - they fade over time so not as important
3) Financial status - I don't need a man to look after me, I can take care of myself so his money doesn't phase me in the slightest.
