Uh no-- because they came here LEGALLY.

I'm not anti-immigrant -- I am an immigrant.

Most people are not anti-immigrant. They are anti-ILLEGAL-immigrant.

When are you morons going to understand the concept?

An illegal alien is not an immigrant. There is a distinct difference. An immigrant is a person who legal comes to this country in search of citizenship, work, and a better life. An illegal alien is a lazy ignorant worthless creature that wants everything the easy way without having to put in the effort to do things right. They come here and want to still be citizens of their original country. They don't/won't assimilate into society, they don't pay taxes, they abuse the social services of the country that citizens pay for, they cause overcrowding in our public schools causing a drop in the quality of education for students who deserve to be there. So I will end with saying, if you can't sign the guest book at the door, go the F**K home.

My cousins came here from Ireland, legally. They wouldn't have done it any other way. It has something to do with how they were raised. They were taught to obey laws and rules.

In the past they came through Ellis Island and had medical checkups and documents checked. Further back in the past there were no laws so those people were not "illegal" either. There are laws NOW, 2006 ON the books that ARE to be ENFORCED!! Immigrants now are screened. It is simply the law.

I am not anti-immigration, I am anti-illegal immigration. I am an engineer who went to school with many foreign students who get their green cards through legal means. What I do not agree with is the illegal immigrants who sneak into this country and the corporations that hire them.

Why don't you people know your history before you make dumb comments like that. My great grandparents came here legally, landed on Ellis Island. They had nothing but the clothes on their backs. They were more than happy to learn English and proudly wave the American flag. They did not receive free medical care, food stamps, cheese, milk, diapers. Nor did they get low imcome housing, and everything else these illegals are getting. They farmed the land and made this country great, so that their children and their children would have a good life. Now you have illegals coming in here that have no intentions of even trying to become citizens and they are slowly wiping out the middle class. I have no sympathy for them. DEPORT!

i'm from PA, and that i'm in my view delighted that ultimately, some thing is getting finished about the immigration problem. wide fines should be imposed on those employers and landlords, because they're for sure attentive to the the undeniable reality that their skill tenants are unlawful (i.e., no longer having a DRIVERS LISCENSE to computer screen for credit examine and references for an apt., no longer to tutor to get a job). I stay on the point of the section, and that i have considered it lengthy gone to ****, clone of my homeland, Lebanon, PA. you pick to discuss a universal CONSERVATIVE city grew to change into to airborne dirt and mud because the mayor says okay to twenty-30 immigrants living in a 2 bedroom living house? you could tell precisely once you're entering the slums, or the ghetto, once you be conscious trash is laying allover the sidewalks and clogging the gutters. you do not see that contained in the astounding parts of city. I also do not see a "community" kin have their baby sitting on the grimy sidewalk in a grimy diaper with airborne dirt and mud throughout their face and their abdomen, yet you positive see distinctive that the position the immigrants live. they pick to stroll round Wal-Mart like that too. I applaud the city for doing it, better cities, like my homeland, ought to persist with healthful. The streets pick to be wiped clean up, because my kin in reality works to keep the immigrants going, because they're too lazy......wait, I propose, maximum of them can't even get a job legally. maximum individuals that're in help of immigration do not realize that the immigrants are the individuals who provide themselves undesirable names. they arrive in, and there is against the law price improve, and the section they stay in is going to ****. And, i ought to assert, how dare you go back to u.s. and question me if I communicate Spanish. The reality, quite, shoud be communicate English, or get the F OUT!
